Windows 11 Is Changing How the Print Screen Key Works
Microsoft has been hard at work on Windows 11 updates, from more Start Menu tweaks to changes to default apps . Now the company is experimenting with changes to the Print Screen key under Windows 11. There are many ways to take a screenshot on Windows 11 ( and Windows 10 ), but if your keyboard has a dedicated Print Screen key, pressing that will instantly take a screenshot and save it to the clipboard. That has been the default behavior for many years — going as far back as Windows 95 — but Microsoft is now testing something different in test builds of Windows 11.
