I have a 1080 Ti, overclocked to 2025MHz, but it seems like whenever I'm playing League it's only running at 1480. What could be the reasoning behind this? Also, I have this strange issue I have yet to figure out: I bought a new PC a few days ago. I have it set so after 30 minutes, my monitors turn off but my computer never goes into sleep. ( https://i.imgur.com/4YKfW1i.png) However, it's happened twice now where I'll move my mouse to wake my monitors up when I return and one of them will look fuzzy and weird, like it's low resolution. Trying to change the refresh rate or resolution to fix it just results in the monitor turning off and reporting "no signal," so the only fix ends up being rebooting my computer. How do I fix this? I've also noticed with this PC that if I don't move my mouse for a couple minutes, once I try to move it again there's a brief delay before it lets me move it, as if the mouse was powered off or something and powered back on once I tried to use it. Thanks for … [Read more...] about Why does my 1080 Ti only run at 1480 MHz on League of Legends?
Why does my ostomy bag keeps leaking
FOR the past 25 years, I always thought I had a good and loving marriage, but my husband has just jeopardised everything by saying that he wants to have an affair. He says it's with a woman he works with and that they have become very close, though he assures me that they haven't slept together yet. He wants to continue to see her and eventually sleep with her, but only if I agree. Despite this revelation, he also said that he loves me and wants us to stay married. That was three days ago, and he immediately started sleeping in the spare bedroom to "give me space to think it through". The problem is, I am no nearer to understanding any of this.I don't want to lose my husband but I don't think I could cope with sharing him with another woman. What should I do? I know he's going to want to talk about this again soon.WNFIONA SAYS: Many readers will already be shouting, "Show him the door" or, "Dump him and move on", and I have some sympathy with these responses. Your husband has put you … [Read more...] about Ask Fiona: Why does my husband want to have an affair?
Having a child changes a woman. It turns her into a mother … but also into a kind of chimera. This transformation doesn't result in a part-lion, part-goat fire-breathing monster of Greek mythology. But it does result in another type of chimera — one defined by the presence of cells in the body that come from at least two organisms. That's because the mother may live the rest of her life with cells in her body that are not her own, but her baby's. During pregnancy, some of the fetus's cells leave the womb, traveling through the placenta and into the mother's bloodstream, where they end up in various parts of her body. [Top 12 Warrior Moms in History] This phenomenon, later coined as "fetal microchimerism," was first discovered in the late 19th century by a German scientist named Georg Schmorl. A century later, interest in the phenomenon re-emerged, when scientists realized that fetal microchimerism could explain how Y chromosomes — only passed down from father to … [Read more...] about Why Does a Mother’s Body Keep Some of Her Baby’s Cells After Birth?
hamzamkhan03 said: I recently built a pc and got a 1080p moniter with it. I was surprised when i plugged in my ps4 that the graphics looked way better. Furthermore, i was kind of disappointed as many games looked fuzzy on pc, even tho im running native resolution and everything on ultra. Pretty sure games arent supposed to run that way. Check scaling. Often putting the games on ultra does not change this slider or value so you are essentially running below your monitors resolution. What game is it that seems better on ps4 than pc? … [Read more...] about Why does my ps4 look better than my pc
BEFORE he passed away, I looked after my elderly father for several years, who battled with both prostate cancer and dementia. He was very hard work at times, but I was happy to care for him as my sister lives on the other side of the country and has a tough job, as well as three teenage children.Towards the end of his life though, I developed ME and I simply didn't have the energy to manage. Because we don't have any other close family members, my sister was forced to take over. Sadly, I never got to see my dad again and he died a few months later. My ME is now, more or less, stabilised and while I still get exhausted easily, I am no longer badly affected by headaches and joint pain. My sister and I had little or no contact while I was ill but I was fine with that, because I knew she had more than enough to do with our dad.Since the funeral though, she's ignored the emails and messages I've left on her mobile phone, which always goes straight to voicemail. I've even sent a letter by … [Read more...] about Ask Fiona: Why is my sister ignoring me efforts to contact her?
