Trump’s budget is very bad news for science research
NASA funding cut by 0.8 percent The space agency isn’t hit as badly as other federal programs, but it will still see a roughly $200 million budget cut if Trump’s plan is approved. On the chopping blocks are a mission to bring an asteroid piece into the vicinity of the Moon, a mission to land on Jupiter’s moon Europa, and several major Earth Science initiatives, including NASA’s carbon monitoring program. Amazon using its ‘India lessons’ to improve operations globally
Amazon had acquired Junglee, which lets consumers sell used items, in 1998, and this was launched in India in 2012, two years before its India e-commerce launch. The Junglee team built a system which now enables Amazon to have a product picked up from the seller's home, vet, pack and ship it to the buyer using the Amazon India infrastructure. As digital marketing evolves with a much more targeted approach, consumers are becoming more conscious and concerned about privacy. As a result, we are seeing top brands react very quickly. In March 2020, Safari blocked all third-party cookies. Apple is introducing intelligence tracking prevention across mobile apps, meanwhile, Google plans on also getting rid of third-party cookies by 2022. As many government bodies warm up to the idea of enacting legislation to protect personal data, there is no denying that the data privacy landscape will change immensely — and digital marketers will have to adapt. The impending loss of cookies is potentially a major issue, as so many businesses have become very used to using them as a primary source of insight on who their customers are, how they move, and how to find others like them. If your business is not yet seriously considering … [Read more...] about Digital marketing in 2021: What to look out for
