American Airlines and Delta Air Lines have made the change – dropping any country descriptor for the airport in Taipei – and United Airlines is expected to shortly follow suit. Beijing claims a number of contested territories, but is particularly sensitive about Taiwan, a self-ruled island that it considers to be a province of China. It has used fines, public shaming, and the introduction of social credit scores for corporations to force foreign companies to adopt its political rhetoric. These are all the companies that have been pressured by China to make political changes within the last 18 months. Sunscreen does a good job of protecting our skin, but it may not be so good for marine life.Research studies have found that chemicals found in some popular sunscreen products are harmful to ocean ecosystems. And now, after state lawmakers passed a bill Tuesday, Hawaii is set to become the first state in the US to ban the sale of sunscreens that contain oxybenzone and octinoxate. The chemicals that help us by filtering UV rays are causing severe damage to Hawaii's marine environment, according to a study by Haereticus Environmental Laboratory, a nonprofit scientific organization. They show up in coastal waters after beachgoers swim in the ocean and via discharges from wastewater treatment plants. The study found that the chemicals seep into young coral and contribute to coral bleaching, which occurs when an increase in sea temperatures kills the algae that grows inside coral, turning reefs white and eliminating nutrients that sustain other marine life.About 14,000 tons of … [Read more...] about Hawaii is about to be the first state to ban certain sunscreen sales
0. phoneArena posted on 18 Sep 2013, 10:35 Currently, there are few smartphones hotter than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and we bet that many of you are eager to try it out personally. This, however, won't be happening until Samsung's new phablet is launched - the Galaxy Note 3 release date is set for September 25 internationally, while the US carriers will get it at a later date. Now, a week or so isn't that long of a period, so the wait is definitely bearable. But in case you're of the impatient type, 7 days may seem like forever, and that sucks, doesn't it? I live in area where I have 2 bar coverage for all Big 4 . I tested almost all big 4 But could not get more than 3 mbps on 4 GLTE. If we have lowest bar How companies claim they can give us better speed. and if signal switch from 4 G lte to 4 G call drops. Company first should improve their service then implement data technologies. posted on 23 Feb 2016, 20:23 0 3. S.R.K.
