President Boris Johnson? NYC-Born Ex-UK PM Hints at White House Bid

February 3, 2023 by www.breitbart.com Leave a Comment

The New York City-born former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson has said that he would not rule out a potential bid for the White House. Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, who served as British Prime Minister from 2019 to 2022 before being forced to resign over a series scandals including being fined for hosting a series of parties in Downing Street which violated the very same draconian lockdown measures his own government imposed upon the public during the Chinese coronavirus crisis, is apparently looking for a second act in his political career. While Westminster watchers have long speculated that such a second act would come in the form of an attempt to recapture his previous position as prime minister, Mr Johsnon threw a spanner in the works this week by telling the Spectator magazine: “I don’t rule it out,” in reference to a potential presidential run. The former British prime minister was born in New York City in 1964 while his father, Stanley … [Read more...] about President Boris Johnson? NYC-Born Ex-UK PM Hints at White House Bid

Audio player loading… Windows 11 users on the latest version 22H2 of the operating system should be wary of a bug that is messing up some important apps after a system restore has been performed. Bleeping Computer (opens in new tab) pointed out this development, which is discussed in a Microsoft support post (opens in new tab) about the problem where affected users encounter a ‘this app can’t open’ error message with some core Windows applications. The error pops up after reverting your PC to a past system restore point, and it hits some apps that use the MSIX Windows package format. That includes Notepad , Paint, Microsoft Office , Cortana, Terminal, and possibly other Windows apps, Microsoft observes. But note that some applications which use the MSIX format remain fine. As well as the aforementioned error message, users may also experience other glitches, including an I/O error followed by the app freezing up and then crashing. Miller: Banning Chinese Land Purchases in U.S. ‘Should Be Bipartisan’

February 5, 2023 by www.breitbart.com Leave a Comment

Placing a moratorium on foreign land purchases and Chinese companies’ efforts to buy up U.S. farmland “should be bipartisan,” said Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL), following the discovery of a now-destroyed Chinese spy balloon in American airspace. “We are on a dangerous path. We’ve known for a long time that we have been allowing ourselves to be too economically dependent on China,” Miller said during an interview with Breitbart News Saturday host and Washington, D.C. Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle. “Joe Biden is just focusing on Americans as being domestic terrorists instead of focusing on our true adversaries. I can’t even imagine what will happen if we lose our self-sufficiency in farming, and we need to take this threat very seriously,” she continued. LISTEN: Breitbart News broke the news on Friday that Miller will reintroduce a bill on Monday entitled “Save American Farms from Adversaries Act.” The legislation is meant to protect U.S. food security, help … [Read more...] about Miller: Banning Chinese Land Purchases in U.S. ‘Should Be Bipartisan’

Armie Hammer Says He Was Molested at 13, Tried to Commit Suicide over #MeToo Cannabalism Scandal

February 5, 2023 by www.breitbart.com Leave a Comment

Disgraced Hollywood star Armie Hammer has addressed his #MeToo scandal in his first interview since the lurid accusations broke two years ago, saying that he tried to commit suicide in a moment of desperation. The actor also said he was sexually molested at the age of 13, which he claimed led to his unusual sexual proclivities, which include BDSM and professed cannibalism. Though a scion of his wealthy family — whose fortune came from Occidental Petroleum — Hammer said that he is now broke and in serious debt. He also maintained his innocence against accusations that he engaged in nonconsensual abuse. The Lone Ranger star spoke to the site Air Mail about the scandal and how he has been recovering. He said he attempted to end his life in early 2021 while hiding out on the Cayman Islands. “I just walked out into the ocean and swam out as far as I could and hoped that either I drowned, or was hit by a boat, or eaten by a shark,” he said. “Then I realized that my kids were … [Read more...] about Armie Hammer Says He Was Molested at 13, Tried to Commit Suicide over #MeToo Cannabalism Scandal

Kevin McCarthy: National Debt ‘Greatest Threat to Our Future’

February 7, 2023 by www.breitbart.com Leave a Comment

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said during a speech Monday that the national debt is the “greatest threat” to America’s future and called on President Joe Biden to negotiate with Republicans on the debt ceiling. McCarthy said during the press conference, addressing the looming debt ceiling deadline: Americans are getting hammered by higher prices. Today, nearly two-thirds of all Americans are living paycheck-to-paycheck, struggling to make ends meet. Meanwhile, China is infiltrating our culture, our farmland, and our skies because they see us as weak. This is not sustainable. But of all the dangers we face, the greatest threat to our future is our national debt. McCarthy said after a meeting with Biden that he remains optimistic that Republicans and Biden can find common ground on the debt limit and spending. The House speaker noted that Biden, who does not want to cut spending as part of a deal to raise the debt ceiling, has backed negotiated with prior House … [Read more...] about Kevin McCarthy: National Debt ‘Greatest Threat to Our Future’
