It can be very stressful. If what you're looking for is a phone line-based DSL service, there's a good chance you have at least a couple options available to you. DSL is an excellent option for rural areas, and it doesn't come with a number of the problems that satellite service does -- high latency and strict data caps come to mind. Its price tag is often much cheaper as well. But if you choose DSL internet service because it's cheap and readily available, be prepared for underwhelming speeds. While some DSL providers are capable of delivering an internet speed that rivals the low end of cable and fiber-optic connections , less than half of households have access to DSL internet speeds that would actually qualify as broadband internet (25Mbps download, 3Mbps upload). Speeds aren't likely to improve … [Read more...] about Best DSL Internet Providers of 2023

Android 13 reaches five percent of Android devices in five months
The big picture: Android 13 made its debut on the distribution charts this month. While Google has made it somewhat more difficult to track changes in version market share in recent years, its latest OS seems to be enjoying a healthy start thanks to platform partners. Google's latest chart showing the distribution of Android versions across devices is the first since it released Android 13 last August. The company's latest mobile operating system is already on just over five percent of Android phones. Version 12 also increased its share in the last five months. The models, downloaded by up to 200,000 developers per month, enable research at … [Read more...] about Booked for Brilliance: Sweden’s National Library Turns Page to AI to Parse Centuries of Data
