As per a report by MacRumors, with the new iPhone SE you cannot long press (or 3D Touch) notifications to expand them. This feature was first introduced with the iPhone 6S and the iPhone SE has surprisingly skipped this feature which is now seen as something very basic. Instead of the long press Haptic Touch support, you will have to swipe a notification left and tap on the ‘View’ option to expand it.
