Further Reading We made a PlayStation Plus explainer that’s better than Sony’s [Updated] Sony's confusing new multi-tiered PlayStation Plus subscription plan has now launched in multiple Asian territories (outside Japan) ahead of a worldwide launch planned for the coming weeks . But users in those regions are finding that some of the classic games on the service are unexpectedly running slower than they remembered. Video Games Chronicle has confirmed that first-party original PlayStation games (i.e., those published by Sony) available on PlayStation Plus in Asia are the European versions designed to run on the PAL video standard . That makes some sense in countries like Indonesia, which natively used that 50 Hz video format during the original PlayStation's heyday. But the PAL versions are also being offered for download in countries like Taiwan, which used the 60 Hz NTSC format of standard-definition TVs in North America and Japan, among other countries. The result is … [Read more...] about Sony’s classic games blunder: Why PAL isn’t your friend

JLab Epic Air Elite Review
When JLab's Epic Air earphones arrived last year, they felt like a big step forward for true wireless earbuds —they looked different than the competition and had better battery specs. At $149, the new Epic Air Elite earbuds cost the same, but boast even more battery life for their charging case than the original. The water-resistant in-ears also now have EQ modes you can switch between, as well as an ambient mode that allows you to hear your surroundings. Design One key differentiator in the black-and-silver Epic Air Elite's design is the ear hook. Garmin’s new rear camera watches your back while you ride your bike
Audio player loading… Sports tech company Garmin is adding a much-needed camera to its Varia line of bicycle radar and tail lights. It’s called the Varia RCT715 and houses a 1080p camera that shoots at 30 fps. The device features Automatic Incident Capture that ensures it continues recording “before, during, and after” an accident. So as you can imagine, the RCT715 is a pretty sturdy device. It has a water resistance rating of IPX7 which means it can survive submerged up to one meter of water for a maximum time of 30 minutes. However, the Varia RCT715 offers no protection against dust or sand. When turned on, the Varia camera will record continuously and save the footage to the Varia app . You can then transfer that footage to your at-home computer or smartphone. The app will even alert you if the rear camera detects a car getting too close behind you (assuming you have your phone clamped to your bike and viewable while you ride). The RCT715 is also … [Read more...] about Garmin’s new rear camera watches your back while you ride your bike
