The suspect in the most recent attack at the Fremont Hub drove off with the woman’s purse and left her with cuts on her head and hands after hitting her with an object described as a metal pipe and pushing her to the ground, police said. Police are also investigating a Jan. 10 robbery at the shopping center, as well as one on Jan. 5. Police do not believe any of them are related. The Fremont Hub borders Fremont Boulevard and Argonaut Way. SEMINOLE HEIGHTS, Fla. — Investigators with the Hillsborough County’s Pet Resource Center have exhumed a dog’s body in Seminole Heights to see if there is evidence of abuse after it was found dead with a pipe around its head. Don, the three-year-old Brindle Boxer went missing October 14 from its Seminole Heights neighborhood around Hillsborough Avenue and 22nd Street North. Nearly 48 hours later, Don’s dead body was found in a nearby garbage trash can by a neighbor.
