One of the key components to setting up your SmartThings devices is adding them to your hub. While it's not a hard process, there are a few taps involved to make sure everything goes smoothly. Keep in mind as well that even though a device may say it "works with SmartThings", there may be a bit more to it than just powering it up and adding it to your hub. Here's how to get the job done. Smart ready to drop
As part of a testing phase for Deutsche Bahn's (DB) new shuttle service, Frankfurt employees at the company will be able to call so-called "eTuk Tuks" using an app to take them to locations around the city. According to a statement on the DB website, published Monday, a fleet of 13 electric vehicles is hitting the streets of the Greater Frankfurt area as part of the first testing phase of their new eco-friendly shuttle service. This fleet of manned vehicles also includes five electric powered tuk-tuks and two electric minibuses, which are ready to drop off any of the company's 15,000 local employees at 32 different DB locations. DB employees call a ride using a smartphone app which picks them up and takes them to their desired station out of a possible 32 rail locations.
