Today, the second-generation model has been spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark site under the model number XT-1789-05. Before we run down the specs, we need to make one assumption, and that is to expect a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen on the device. A month and a half after Cingular launched it, T-Mobile USA also announces the second generation of RAZR phone, named V3t instead of V3i, but packing the same features in the same design. Coming in dark-grey housing it is pretty standard, but the second GSM carrier in the states also shows the limited Dolce and Gabbana edition of the V3i for a few bucks more. The V3t and the V3i D&G are available for $150 and $300 respectively after discounts and rebates. In addition, the carrier also launched a couple of colorful tattooed versions of the original RAZR: Cherry Blossom Tattoo and Dragon Tattoo, both available for $90 after rebates. Samsung has announced today that it has started churning out chipsets made using the company's second generation 10nm process. Samsung hasn't made any specific announcement, but there is a good chance that this second generation process will be employed in the production of the Snapdragon 845 chipset and the next version of the Exynos SoC. A listing in India's Zauba import-export website indicates that Qualcomm could be prepping a second generation Snapdragon 652 chipset. The new version of the Snapdragon 652 chip features 2GHz/1.4GHz 4+4 cores. A 621MHz GPU is on board, and there is support for a 1440 x 2560 resolution display and 8GB of DDR4 RAM.58 units of the chip were shipped to India from the U.S. for testing last week. Each chip was given a valuation of $51 USD giving the shipment a total value of $2,958 USD. The Zauba listing referred to the chip as the MSM8976SG. The MSM8976 is the model number for the Snapdragon 652 SoC while the 'SG' probably means second generation.
