Tickets Monday were selling for between $3,490 to $16,787 each at Ace Ticket and for between $3,795 and $13,000 at Ticketmaster, although the latter notes that prices “can exceed face value.” SeatGeek was selling tickets ranging from $3,125 to $13,300, but tacked on “seller and delivery fees” of $937 to $3,176, respectively. Ace Ticket CEO Jim Holzman said the most expensive Super Bowl tickets his company sold were in 2015, when prices ranged from $11,000 to $45,000 for the pleasure of watching the Patriots defeat the Seattle Seahawks in Arizona. The 49ers have 40-1 odds to win Super Bowl LIV in Miami in 2020, according to BetOnline.ag. Only 11 teams have longer odds than the 49ers, who share 40-1 chances with the Jaguars and Giants. Of note for the dynastic Patriots, who are managing to play the everyone-thinks-we-stink card before the AFC Championship Game in Kansas City on Sunday: The Chiefs have the best odds (7-1) and the Patriots are a 10-1 shot. Well, it took until the last game of the season, but the NFL playoff picture is finally set. Several familiar faces, including last year's Super Bowl champion and runner-up in the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots, have once again reached the postseason. However, there are also some surprise teams making playoff appearances, hoping to knock off the powerhouse rosters they've been staring up at all season long. According to Vegas Insider, it's crowded at the top of the playoff picture. The Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs may be the most heavily favored, but the Chicago Bears and ever-present Patriots aren't too far behind. As for the bottom of the pack, the Eagles are a long shot to repeat as champions – but stranger things have certainly happened. Los Angeles (AFP) – Two-time Super Bowl-winner Brandon Browner was jailed for eight years on Tuesday after pleading no contest to attempting to murder his ex-girlfriend in California. Browner, 34, had appeared in court in Pomona, outside Los Angeles, following an attack at his victim’s home on July 8.The former cornerback, who won back-to-back Super Bowls with the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots in 2014 and 2015 respectively, was accused of attempting to smother the woman after breaking into her home in La Verne. He pleaded no contest to one felony count of attempted murder and two misdemeanor counts of cruelty to a child involving the woman’s two children. Superior Court Judge Bruce F. Marrs ordered Browner to stay away from the woman and her two children for 10 years, the District Attorney’s Office said. Browner’s attack occurred with the woman’s two children present.
