After the battery-explosion debacle that hit the otherwise highly-reviewed Samsung Galaxy Note 7, Samsung refurbished parts from the Note 7 and created a semi-sequel known as the Samsung Galaxy Note FE. The “FE” stands for “Fan Edition.” Outside some branding changes and a different battery, there isn’t much about the Galaxy Note FE that’s different from the Galaxy Note 7.Now, it appears the Samsung Galaxy Note FE is starting to receive the Android 9 Pie upgrade (via SamMobile).
