Tomb Raider Will Be Enhanced for GeForce RTX Cards
On Sept. 14, Square Enix will release Shadow of the Tomb Raider, a continuation of 2013's Tomb Raider and 2015's Rise of the Tomb Raider. It's also now set to be a showcase for what Nvidia's new GeForce RTX graphics cards can do on PC. Yesterday, Nvidia revealed its next generation of gaming graphics cards called the RTX 20 series. The line-up consists of three new cards, the RTX 2070, RTX 2080, and RTX 2080 Ti. You'll pay at least $499 to own one and $999 if you want that Ti card, but in return you'll get to experience the new Turing architecture and the ray tracing features it promises. Of course, in order to experience this new power, you need games to support it. The RTX cards launch on Sept. 20, six days after Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
