Netflix: Tiger King was big, but Spenser Confidential was huge

· April 22, 2020 ·

Netflix 's viral docuseries Tiger King may have been a feverish, collective binge-watch last month just as the coronavirus pandemic truly locked down the world, but another Netflix release earlier this year outstripped even Tiger King's popularity. On Tuesday, Netflix dropped another cache of popularity figures for its originals, as it also reported insane subscriber growth for the beginning of the year. Spenser Confidential , an action-comedy movie starring Mark Wahlberg, was watched by 85 million households in its first month of release, compared with the (still crazy) 64 million households that watched Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness in its first month. And Netflix mentioned the popularity of Too Hot to Handle, a dating competition reality show released last week with the winning premise that a group of hot people are isolated at a resort and then lose prize money every time they have a sexual encounter with each other. It's on track to be "probably our … [Read more...] about Netflix: Tiger King was big, but Spenser Confidential was huge

Ara Wagoner 27 Feb 2021 0 Source: Ara Wagoner / Android Central While I adore researching the best cases for the Samsung Galaxy S21 — or whichever phone is hitting the market this week — I'm always a tad disappointed when I go look at the newest and fanciest ones a manufacturer offers and see that they're only for iPhone. I can't be too mad — when you're starting out a new series, iPhone is the safer bet and its owners are never shy to call out anything they don't like — but I am disappointed all the same. Such was the case with the Caseology Nano Pop , which debuted for the iPhone 11 series in late 2019. It came back for the iPhone 12 with bolder colors, and I held out hope that it would soon make the jump to Android phones. That jump came with … [Read more...] about Caseology Nano Pop for Galaxy S21 review: Colorful, compact, and perfectly grippy in the hand

iPhone 13 rumors: Release date, price, cameras, and all the leaks

· February 27, 2021 ·

Apple's iPhone 12 lineup has only been on virtual shelves for a few months, and already the mobile phone world has turned its attention to the iPhone 13 (or whatever Apple names its next flagship) and the three other variants expected to join the lineup: the iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo . Stop buying breakable phones, and you won’t even need a case anymore

· February 27, 2021 ·

Let me guess: You're still carrying a phone you're terrified of dropping. Even though the iPhone 12 passed our scratch and drop test with flying colors, thanks to its ceramic shield screen, Apple still recommends using a case (and the same goes for the not-so-hardy Galaxy S21 ). So you cocoon it in an add-on case , maybe with a finger loop for extra safety, and end up with a package that makes a mockery of your "thin" phone. If so, it's time to consider one of the new breed of rugged phones, which range from slim to attractively chunky. They all have built-in drop-and-dunk resistance, no case needed. And they typically offer a slew of useful features no iPhone or Samsung Galaxy phone can replicate. If you think the typical phones have become universally boringly excellent, you're right -- so prepare to be excited all over again.
