App reviews in the Play Store can sometimes be a quite useful resource. Like pretty much any platform for commentary online, you've got to have a discerning eye in order to sort the genuinely useful information from all manner of fanboi rants or misdirected attempts for customer service, but it's still an asset plenty of us turn to time and time again. If you contribute reviews of your own, though, you may want to start being a little more thoughtful about what you say, as now other user can see all your old edits, even after you update your review. Now Google's quietly flipped the switch on these public edit logs, making them visible in the Android Play Store app. To view the older … [Read more...] about Your Google Play Store review edit history is now visible to the public
The Motorola XOOM: Ever since it was first teased at D: Dive Into Mobile, the Android community hasn't been able to take its eyes off the tablet's dual-core processor, gorgeous 10.1-inch display, and - last but certainly not least - Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) operating system. Well now the device has officially gone on sale, and I've been testing falling in love with a review unit for the last few days. Typically, I end up hating devices that I adore at first blush, but the XOOM is an entirely different story - the device is far from perfect (where are the tablet apps?), but I have yet to find anything truly upsetting about it. That said, I find it hard to recommend forking over $800 for a tablet which, despite being among the best in its class hardware- and software-wise, lacks the multimedia options of the competition. But don't let that stop you from reading on for our full review of the XOOM and - perhaps more importantly - Android 3.0!At a Glance They say specs aren't everything, but … [Read more...] about Motorola XOOM + Android 3.0 Review: Sweet As Honey
Home / News / First Galaxy S9+ review comes from a lucky pre-order customer The first Galaxy S9+ review is now live and it’s not from any tech publication, it’s from a lucky pre-order customer who received his unit way ahead of schedule. It’s not uncommon for Samsung’s retail or carrier partners to mistakenly ship out a unit or two of its upcoming flagship devices. We’ve seen this happen in the past as well and now it appears to have happened again. It’s quite likely that other pre-order customers in markets like the United States will start receiving their units a couple of days before the official March 16 release date.First Galaxy S9+ reviewReddit user Pinusnigra pre-ordered the Galaxy S9+ the day Samsung started taking them in his country (Turkey) and much to his surprise, the Exynos-powered variant of the device landed on his doorstep on March 1. They're definitely a step above the earphones you normally get with your flagship smartphone. The only ones that are better are the B&O earphones you get with the LG V-series. posted on 2 hours ago 1 5. theviolinist (Posts: … [Read more...] about Comments for : Samsung Galaxy S9+ unboxing!
