Recently, Rockstar Games announced Red Dead Online's availability to the general public. Red Dead Online is a connected online experience set against the backdrop of Red Dead Redemption 2's massive open world. According to the studio, this new version is an evolution of the classic multiplayer experience found in Red Dead Redemption. Red Dead Online is currently in beta and due to this has a number of issues. Aside from the world feeling somewhat barren, the multiplayer mode suffers from a bizarre in-game economy where gold watches are worth less than a can of baked beans. It seems to be balanced to encourage gold microtransactions. While some fixes have been rolled out, a lot of work still needs to be done. The "Gold Bar" microtransctions are quite expensive as well. 25 Gold Bars: $4.99 introductory price and $9.99 regular 55 Gold Bars: $19.99 150 Gold Bars: $49.99 245 Gold Bars: $74.99 350 Gold Bars: $99.99 You'll have to spend a lot if you truly want to go all out. Announced this month at MWC 2015, the Huawei Watch is the newest Android Wear-based circular smartwatch in town, and the first smartwatch ever to be made by Huawei. While Huawei didn't say how much the device would cost, BGR has it that it will be very expensive. According to BGR, "the Huawei Watch price is $1,000." However, this might be the price for a luxury version of the device - one that uses real gold and silver. So the regular variant, which is made out of stainless steel (with a sapphire crystal lens), will most likely cost way less, though it may still be the most expensive Android Wear product yet. Huawei expects to start selling its Watch in mid-2015, and plans to release it in more than 20 markets, including the US. The new wearable device looks a lot like a classic watch, and sports a 1.4-inch AMOLED display with 400 x 400 pixels (286 ppi). But the rest of its features aren't that different from what we're already seeing in other Android Wear smartwatches, including a … [Read more...] about Huawei’s Android Wear Watch might be quite expensive

Neo_Huang (Posts: 1067; Member since: 06 Dec 2013) As mentioned in the article, $1,000 is for the most expensive variant of the smartwatch. It's sort of like how Asus said that the Zenfone 2 would be $199, which is the cost of the cheapest model, rather than the one with 4GB RAM that everyone was hyped about. posted on 04 Mar 2015, 18:13 0 7. VZWuser76 (Posts: 4938; Member since: 04 Mar 2010) Actually, the article speculates that it's for the luxury version. But then everything in this article is speculation. BGR is saying it will be $1000, but what proof or source do they have to confirm this? Without any corroboration, it could be nothing more than an article to generate traffic. posted on 04 Mar 2015, 18:41 0 8. sgodsell (Posts: 5825; Member since: 16 Mar 2013) All Android Wear smart watches … [Read more...] about Comments for : Huawei’s Android Wear Watch might be quite expensive
