With this, the company expanded its entry-level device portfolio. Those looking for a budget smartphone with basic features can consider buying the phone. Starting today (March 17) Nokia C12 can be purchased online via Amazon e-commerce and Nokia websites. Nokia has launched ‘anyRAN’ product suite which the Finnish telecom gear maker said will enable mobile operators and enterprises to extend their options for building and evolving radio access networks (RAN). “Nokia’s approach supports the evolution of today’s purpose-built networks to Cloud RAN and hybrid solutions, ensuring performance consistency across all network environments,” the company said in a statement. Nokia has signed go-to-market agreements with cloud infrastructure and server providers, providing mobile network operators and enterprises greater flexibility in their choice of hardware, cloud infrastructure, and data center solutions for running Cloud RAN. According to a Fierce Wireless report, Nokia has signed GTM partnerships with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft and Google, along with hardware vendors such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Dell, although the report said it is not clear whether all these are anyRAN partners.
