By Malcolm Owen Thursday, March 28, 2019, 10:04 am PT (01:04 pm ET) Apple is continuing it's "Privacy. That's iPhone" marketing campaign by publishing a new video to its YouTube channel, highlighting the anti-tracking measures of Safari to prevent advertisers from knowing what users are searching for online. The latest ad, titled "The Answer," focuses on one teenager in a bathroom looking at his mustache into a mirror. Browsing on an iPhone XR, his internal monolog muses "All these websites say it's normal to start shaving at age 15," suggesting the kind of thing that internet users may not want to share with others. The teenager then places the iPhone XR down on a towel in a cut-away shot, to the background sound of an electric trimmer. On-screen text in the ad states "Safari limits sites from tracking you across the web. Because what you browse should be your business. Privacy. That's iPhone." The last section of the ad spot is the Apple logo with a padlock loop closing and … [Read more...] about Teenage shaving queries used to promote Safari privacy in latest iPhone privacy ad

By Eric Branch Updated 3:59 pm PST, Thursday, January 17, 2019 The 49ers won their last Super Bowl in Miami. Will their win their next Super Bowl in the same city? The chances aren’t great. The 49ers have 40-1 odds to win Super Bowl LIV in Miami in 2020, according to BetOnline.ag. Only 11 teams have longer odds than the 49ers, who share 40-1 chances with the Jaguars and Giants. Of note for the dynastic Patriots, who are managing to play the everyone-thinks-we-stink card before the AFC Championship Game in Kansas City on Sunday: The Chiefs have the best odds (7-1) and the Patriots are a 10-1 shot. Tom Brady’s reaction: No one believes in us. For those that actually wager on such things, there appears to be decent value in the Colts (20-1) and Seahawks (33-1) and, yes, the longshot 49ers, who had 22-1 odds in training camp before their franchise quarterback was lost for the season in Week 3. The 49ers won their last Super Bowl, beating the Chargers 49-26, … [Read more...] about 49ers win next season’s Super Bowl? What are the odds?
