Ara Wagoner 27 Feb 2021 0 Source: Ara Wagoner / Android Central While I adore researching the best cases for the Samsung Galaxy S21 — or whichever phone is hitting the market this week — I'm always a tad disappointed when I go look at the newest and fanciest ones a manufacturer offers and see that they're only for iPhone. I can't be too mad — when you're starting out a new series, iPhone is the safer bet and its owners are never shy to call out anything they don't like — but I am disappointed all the same. Such was the case with the Caseology Nano Pop , which debuted for the iPhone 11 series in late 2019. It came back for the iPhone 12 with bolder colors, and I held out hope that it would soon make the jump to Android phones. That jump came with … [Read more...] about Caseology Nano Pop for Galaxy S21 review: Colorful, compact, and perfectly grippy in the hand

Stop buying breakable phones, and you won’t even need a case anymore

· February 27, 2021 ·

Let me guess: You're still carrying a phone you're terrified of dropping. Even though the iPhone 12 passed our scratch and drop test with flying colors, thanks to its ceramic shield screen, Apple still recommends using a case (and the same goes for the not-so-hardy Galaxy S21 ). So you cocoon it in an add-on case , maybe with a finger loop for extra safety, and end up with a package that makes a mockery of your "thin" phone. If so, it's time to consider one of the new breed of rugged phones, which range from slim to attractively chunky. They all have built-in drop-and-dunk resistance, no case needed. And they typically offer a slew of useful features no iPhone or Samsung Galaxy phone can replicate. If you think the typical phones have become universally boringly excellent, you're right -- so prepare to be excited all over again.
