Galaxy S9 sales haven’t been great so far. To avoid the same fate, the Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus need to be massive upgrades. Here’s what I think the upcoming flagships should bring to the table to grab consumers’ interest and outsell the S9 series. Galaxy S10 wishlist — Same features for both models The display and battery sizes aren’t the only differences between the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. The larger model has a dual-camera setup, while the S9 features a single shooter on the back. At 6GB, the S9 Plus also sports 2GB of RAM more than its smaller brother. Samsung should change its strategy with the Galaxy S10 duo and equip both handsets with the same specs and features. The only differences between them should be the screen and battery sizes, just like Google’s Pixel series. That way, the decision of which one to get comes down to the form factor alone. With the Galaxy S9 series, people into photography have to pay extra for the dual … [Read more...] about Samsung Galaxy S10: Six kick-ass features I want to see

Why Microsoft wants to make games more accessible for all of us
Inside Microsoft’s Inclusive Technologies Lab in Redmond, Washington, a sign says, “When you do not intentionally, deliberately include … you will unintentionally exclude.” This reflects the thinking behind the Xbox Adaptive Controller, a new accessory for Xbox One game consoles to help those with limited mobility get back in the game. A lot of players with physical challenges can’t press all of the 19 buttons on a traditional Xbox controller. Smart dolls with style want to make coding more fun for girls
It's a Saturday afternoon, and I've just crashed a doll on a motorized scooter into a framed picture of my friends from grad school that sits on a low shelf in my living room.Fortunately, no inanimate objects, motorized or otherwise, are dinged or cracked. However, I need to reassess the code that directed the scooter to attack my former classmates with such zest. The doll is named Maria. She is one five SmartGurlz fashion dolls that come with a self-balancing motorized scooter dubbed Siggy that you control through an app called SugarCoded. You might have caught SmartGurlz founder Sharmi Albrechtsen on a November 2017 episode of ABC's "Shark Tank," talking about her struggles to get her daughter interested in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) subjects in school. Albrechtsen walked away with a deal for $200,000 in return for one of the sharks taking 25 percent of the company, having just launched the company in July 2017. Using the crowdfunding platform … [Read more...] about Smart dolls with style want to make coding more fun for girls
