Intel might launch another mid-range processor soon. As a new Rocket Lake-S processor has surfaced online on Geekbench. The Geekbench listing reveals several details such as clock speed, model number, benchmark scores and more. Based on the listing, it’s an 11th-generation Intel Core i5 11400 processor. The new processor has a base clock frequency of 2.6GHz and can go up to 4.4GHz and is expected to feature Intel’s new Cypress Cove cores. The processor tested on Geekbench is made by MSI and it’s a hexa-core processor with 6 cores and 12 threads. Now, this puts this processor on par with the AMD Ryzen 5000 SoCs. But, the processor will be based on 14nm architecture. Now, the 14nm architecture is pretty old and it also restricts the performance gain despite all the improvements and enhancements.
