March 7, 2018 - Written By Kristijan Lucic The Huawo 6081 is basically a copy of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro. This handset was actually announced at this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, though it flew under the radar, until now. Interestingly enough, the Huawei 6081 was not displayed at MWC 2018, the company only showed off renders of the device, as a real-life unit has not been manufactured yet, which is quite odd considering that Huawo actually made the trip to Barcelona. In any case, Huawo also shared some specs of the Huawo 6081, which we’ll talk in a minute, but let’s check out the provided renders first. As you can see, the phone looks just like the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, at least in the provided renders, even its color options have been copied. There are two cameras on the back of this phone, they’re vertically aligned, and a fingerprint scanner sits right below them. An LED flash is located on the back as well, and so is a sensor which looks … [Read more...] about Huawo 6081 Resembles The Huawei Mate 10 Pro Quite A Bit

The Huawei Mate SE is a US-branded version of the Honor 7X
Huawei is releasing the Mate SE in the US today as a rebranded version of the company’s recent Honor 7X phone, according to Android Police. The 7X was announced back in December and designed to offer a modern, reduced-bezel design at more budget prices. Now, eagle-eyed observers may note that Huawei already released the Honor 7X in the US back in February, but that phone wasn’t actually the same 7X released everywhere else in the world. It featured just 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, instead of the 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage found everywhere else. Hence, the Huawei Mate SE, which features the same boosted RAM and storage as the original 7X that Huawei released internationally. In other words: it’s the “real” 7X. Everything else about the Mate SE is identical to the original 7X (both US and international) with the same hardware, cameras, reduced-bezel display, and processor as the original model. The only difference between the Mate SE and the … [Read more...] about The Huawei Mate SE is a US-branded version of the Honor 7X
Video: Unboxing the $1,225 Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design
Porsche Design has become somewhat of a household name in the tech sphere over the years, thanks to partnerships with phone manufacturers who allow the design firm to put their spin on recently released products. They have partnered with Blackberry in the past, and Huawei most recently, which brings us to today’s unboxing video. We received a Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design device this morning (because it just went on sale in the US) and promptly opened it up on camera. You see, even though we just reviewed the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, this is something special. For one, it’s a $1,225 phone that’s at least worth diving into for a minute to see what the fuss is all about. And two, it really does look as hot as you hoped it would. For those still not familiar with Porsche Design and what they do to products, I’ll attempt to explain. They take a phone, like the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, and tweak the design (original Mate 10 Pro design) to their liking to put their own stamp on … [Read more...] about Video: Unboxing the $1,225 Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design
Huawei Mate SE price and features
Not long after officially releasing the Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Design in the US, Huawei recently started selling a third new smartphone - the Mate SE. Similar to the Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Design, the Huawei Mate SE is offered only unlocked. However, this new handset it significantly cheaper than the other two models, being sold for $229.99.If you find the design of the Mate SE familiar, it’s because this is nothing more than a rebranded Honor 7X* with a couple of upgraded features. The Mate SE is nearly identical to the Honor 7X, from the 5.9-inch display to the dual rear camera, but offers more RAM (4 GB vs. 3 GB) and more internal memory (64 GB vs. 32 GB). This justifies the fact that the Mate SE costs $229.99, while the Honor 7X - available in the US since January - is sold for $199.99.The Huawei Mate SE can be purchased via major retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H, US warranty included. If you're interested, you can find the smartphone via the … [Read more...] about Huawei Mate SE price and features

The Mate SE sports a 5.93-inch display with a 18:9 aspect ratio, it’s powered by a 2.36GHz octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage along with a micro SD Card slot.
