The EFF reported that after today's meeting, Congress's House Judiciary Committee appears ready to push forward Representative Bob Goodlatte's (R-VA) copyright reform bill. This proposed legislation is only of several potential unlock bills being consider. Goodlatte's would reinstate legal protection for unlocking phones until the next set of Library of Congress hearings in 2015.
