It's raining LTE-equipped tablets over at AT&T this fine evening, and you can order yourself up one right now. You've got your choice of a standard tablet, one with a stylus, and one with a whole phone in it. We truly live in the future. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a modestly specced tablet with no bells and whistles. It's rocking a Snapdragon 400 processor and a 1280x800 resolution screen. Pricing is $479.99 off-contract, or $100 less with a 2-year data agreement. Yeah, that's kind of a lot, but you can also get the Tab 4 with monthly installments at $24 per month for 20 months. Samsung's high-end offering is also on AT&T now, of course I speak of the Note Pro 12.2. It has a Snapdragon 800 and a 2560x1600 resolution screen. This device costs a whopping $799.99 with a 2-year contract, or $899.99 contract-free. Still just $100 off for two years of your life, unfortunately. The installment plan is $45 per month for 20 months. The elusive PadFone X is also live today at … [Read more...] about AT&T Has Released The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, And Asus PadFone X

It has been a little over a month since Mistwalker Corporation's tile-based tactical role-playing game Terra Battle2 went up on the Play Store for pre-registration. Well, it would appear that it has finally been officially released as you can now download the game straight to your device. Sadly there's one caveat, the servers are not up and running yet. They are set to go live at 11:00 PM PST, which is still quite a few hours away. For those unfamiliar with Mistwalker Corporation or Terra Battle, it's worth pointing out that this studio and game series is the brainchild of Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of the Final Fantasy series. While there is no doubt that their first game was a success, it's still unknown if there's still room in the market for yet another tactical role-playing gacha game. If you do decide to pre-download the title, you'll be greeted with the above screen once you open it up. While I was at first bummed that I couldn't jump right in, I have to … [Read more...] about Final Fantasy creator Sakaguchi has released his newest game ‘Terra Battle2,’ but you can’t play it until 11:00 PM PST

Microsoft issues monthly patches to resolve bugs and occasionally add new features to Windows 10, but for many users the latest update, released last week, did more harm than good. The faulty update uninstalled your existing USB drivers but failed to replace them, leaving connected hardware including keyboards, mice and webcams useless.Thankfully, Microsoft has pushed out a new update to resolve the problem. Nokia Beta Labs has released a beta version of Java Runtime 2.0, meant for devices running Symbian S60 5th Edition. The software environment has been entirely rewritten, adds one touch install and improves application start-up times and performance. Moreover, Java Runtime packs for different S60 versions will be developed separately from now on. This will enable users to update their handsets through the built-in Nokia S60 Software Update that all smartphones of the manufacturer come equipped with. Java Runtime 2.0 is currently available to owners of the Nokia N97 (software version starting with 20 and 21) and 5800 XpressMusic (software versions 10 and 11), so if you happen to be among the lucky few, you can download the update from here right away. Comments left on the website of Nokia Beta Labs bring word of certain issues due to the fact the app is installed in the system memory of the handset, which is rather scarce even on the Nokia N97.
