There has been some suggestion that this video might have been staged or produced in conjunction with the help of Russian or Kazakhstan agents, but I am not so sure. Russian space officials are proud of the Buran program, but not its sad legacy with the lost orbiter in 2002 and the abandoned vehicles rotting away today. So far, they've had to rely on slow-rolling, ground-based rovers to navigate, but if Ingenuity proves capable of withstanding the harsh environment of Mars, the technology might become much more common. Perhaps a more refined design could be made at a later date? … [Read more...] about NASA’s ‘Mars Helicopter’ Ingenuity will reach the Red Planet next month
2,939 new Teslas were registered in Hong Kong in March—none in April
The news reflects just how much EVs still depend on government incentives to build momentum. But government support is not likely to be necessary forever. Bloomberg New Energy Finance recently reported that EV battery packs are likely to become cheap enough to compete with internal combustion engines as soon as 2025. The analysis firm added that it predicts EVs will outsell traditional vehicles within 20 years. … [Read more...] about 2,939 new Teslas were registered in Hong Kong in March—none in April
