TikTok has released its latest transparency report, revealing that more than 89.13 million videos were removed from its platform in the second half of 2020. The majority of these, at 11.78 million, are from the United States and 83.3% were yanked before they clocked any views. The videos, which accounted for under 1% of all videos uploaded on TikTok, were removed for violating various conditions detailed in the Chinese tech company's community guidelines or terms of service. These included safety involving minors, violent and graphic content, illegal activities and regulated goods, and suicide and dangerous activities, according to its latest and fourth transparency report .
