A whistleblower recently filed a lawsuit against Konnech, Inc. and its CEO Eugene Yu that backs up allegations from the non-profit True the Vote that the company stored American poll worker data in China, according to a report. According to a December 22, 2023, verified complaint from former Konnech employee and whistleblower Grant Bradley reported by the Federalist on Friday, the firm “illegally” stored information on servers housed in China. The complaint from Bradley alleged (emphasis added): Plaintiff’s reputation in his chosen field has been ruined by the decision of Defendants to illegally store information on servers housed in China. The Federalist reported: “That allegation suggests that Konnech had, in fact, stored data on ‘servers housed in China,’ and that possibility resurrects concerns over the FBI’s involvement in the investigation of Konnech, as well as the L.A. district attorney’s decision to drop the criminal charges it had brought against Yu.” … [Read more...] about Report: Whistleblower Alleges Konnech Stored Poll Worker Data in China

The best VPN for China 2023
No matter if you live or plan to head to China soon, in both scenarios we strongly recommend downloading one of the world's best VPNs beforehand. Let's see why. China is well-known to be the world's country that clamps down the most on what its residents can and cannot access online. Social media platforms, streaming services, news outlets, countless websites: they all are fully or partly censored. Even Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies cannot escape the Great Firewall's muzzle. All this makes using a VPN for China a real necessity for bypassing these strict geo-restrictions and access all the sites you usually visit. How? That's because it spoofs your real IP location and makes you appear as if you are in an entirely different country in the world in no time. A China VPN isn't just a circumventing tool, though. It encrypts all the data leaving your device without logging your information. That's really important as Chinese authorities are also infamous for their invasive … [Read more...] about The best VPN for China 2023
China wants to censor all online comments and hold posters responsible for reactions

Best DSL Internet Providers of 2023
With the constant need for internet, you are likely to go through the hassle of finding an internet provider and hoping you get good service after you've already agreed to pay them. It can be very stressful. If what you're looking for is a phone line-based DSL service, there's a good chance you have at least a couple options available to you. DSL is an excellent option for rural areas, and it doesn't come with a number of the problems that satellite service does -- high latency and strict data caps come to mind. Its price tag is often much cheaper as well. But if you choose DSL internet service because it's cheap and readily available, be prepared for underwhelming speeds. While some DSL providers are capable of delivering an internet speed that rivals the low end of cable and fiber-optic connections , less than half of households have access to DSL internet speeds that would actually qualify as broadband internet (25Mbps download, 3Mbps upload). Speeds aren't likely to improve … [Read more...] about Best DSL Internet Providers of 2023

We reached out to Nomad Internet for further clarity on the claim but have yet to hear back … [Read more...] about Nomad Internet Review: No Strings Attached With This Wireless, Cellular Setup
