Best buy laptop messenger bags
I have the opportunity to review a ton of products here on ZDNet and while most are excellent and achieve ratings of 8/10 or higher, it is rare that I judge something to be perfect. However, WaterField Designs has achieved that with its newest backpack. As a person who commutes about 40 miles each way to and from Seattle by walking, cycling, and riding on a train, my preferred gear bag is a backpack. According to Gary WaterField, there are more of his business customers using backpacks than messenger bags today so the company collected thousands of responses from fans to help create its newest Pro Executive Laptop Backpack and it is perfect. A couple of months ago I took a day trip to San Franscisco for a briefing on a new phone and had an opportunity to visit the WaterField Designs office where I was able to chat with Gary, Heidi, and others about the company and its products. Gary asked me for some feedback on the Bolt Backpack I was wearing and I told him of a few things I would … [Read more...] about WaterField Designs Pro Executive Laptop Backpack: A perfect business backpack created with the help of customers
Whether you’re waiting to board a flight, train, or bus, chances are you’ll have some downtime. Rather than aimlessly scrolling through social media or stressing out about what you did and didn’t pack, relax by playing a video game. Whether it’s a simple puzzler or an intense shooter, gaming is a great option for passing the time and focusing on something less stressful, since traveling can be traumatic enough. That said, you should plan ahead to ensure the best gaming experience. The smartphone glued to your hip is the obvious choice, but you might also want to consider a dedicated gaming device. That could be a portable … [Read more...] about Stock your travel bag with these gadgets for gaming on the go
Back in 2016, I reviewed the Brenthaven Collins Vertical Messenger Bag for the Surface Pro 4. Recently, when I stopped by my local Microsoft Store, I noticed a new model of the bag (#1974), and I was surprised to see a bunch of new upgrades and smaller changes. In case you missed it, I think the Brenthaven Collins Vertical Messenger Bag is one of the nicest, best-looking "day bags" for the Surface Pro, Surface Book 2 (13-inch), or any laptop that is 14-inches or smaller. It's light, slim, looks great, and has just enough pockets for a day out to the coffee shop or friend's house. With a dedicated pocket for stylus and Surface Pen, and even a specific pocket for the Surface Arc Mouse, the Collins is not some generic PC bag, but a customized Surface accessory. That makes it somewhat unique, and at a price around $60 (though sometimes much lower), it won't break the bank. Check out my new video review of the Collins bag and let me know what you think. Buyer's note: It's not clear from … [Read more...] about New Collins Vertical Messenger Bag is a simple, stylish way to tote a Surface Pro
What’s in Your Bag? is a recurring feature where we ask people to tell us a bit more about their everyday gadgets by opening their bags and hearts to us. This week, we’re featuring Verge senior editor Paul Miller. I carry a bag because I need my laptop with me, and because I have a laptop-sized bag, I end up with a lot of junk that accumulates in the pockets and crevices. Therefore, I wouldn’t think of this setup as some sort of thoughtful expression of my needs and priorities. It’s more of a snapshot of which particular junk is the best at hiding. This photo is disgusting, and I’m sorry. My bag is very dirty. I’ve been wearing it constantly for over three years straight, and apparently I’m also a chimney sweep? But this bag checked all the boxes for me when I bought it, and I have zero complaints. It’s not a messenger bag, because those hurt my neck and shoulders. It has a water bottle holder on the side because sometimes I get thirsty. … [Read more...] about What’s in your bag, Paul Miller?
