DevOps and agile methodologies certainly have shifted the priorities and practices of technology teams. Now, as organizations prepare for the post-Covid boom in activity ahead, these efforts will need to be at the forefront of cultural change and engaging customers. DevOps and agile need to break out of the IT department and become everyone's best practices. Google rebrands G Suite for Education to Google Workspace for Education

Google is announcing a swath of new features for its education-focused products today, including that G Suite for Education is being rebranded to Google Workspace for Education . The company first unveiled the Workspace branding for its office apps suite in October , but the education-focused suite had retained the G Suite branding until now. Among other changes to the different tiers, the free edition of G Suite for Education is being renamed to Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals and G Suite Enterprise for Education is being renamed to Google Workspace for Education Plus. If you’re already a G Suite Enterprise for Education customer, you’ll automatically roll over to Google Workspace for Education Plus. Google is also announcing data storage policy changes for its education customers. Reliance Jio developing 5G small cells; ready with 5G core, radio

NEW DELHI: Reliance Jio said that it has indigenously developed 5G Radio integrated with Jio’s 5G core network and is in its development of in-house Massive MIMO and indoor 5G small cells is in advanced stages. Jio Platforms along with its wholly owned subsidiary Radisys Corporation recently partnered with Qualcomm to develop open and interoperable interface compliant architecture based 5G solutions with a virtualized RAN. The partnership is intended to fast track the development and roll out of indigenous 5G network infrastructure and services in India. Mukesh Ambani, chairman of RIL recently said that Jio was planning to launch 5G in the second half of 2021. The company is currently awaiting the telecom department's nod to test its 5G equipment.
