The best powerline adapters 2022 may seem like a trivial consideration, but they’re able to extend your range of coverage in a way that most other network solutions can’t, making them an absolute must-buy for anyone experiencing poor wireless at home. That’s due to the fact that they work a little bit differently than routers or mesh Wi-Fi systems . You just need to connect one directly to an ethernet cable that hooks into your router and plug it into an available power outlet. You can then plug a second (or more) unit into an outlet where you're experiencing low speeds and as long as they share the same power grid connection, you'll see that the connection is vastly improved. Though there are other network solutions to try, if they don’t work, the top powerline adapter might be the answer to your internet problems, especially if you’re dealing with networks that just can’t reach certain areas of your home or office. Depending on the model, they can even broadcast their Wi-Fi … [Read more...] about Best powerline adapters in 2022: top picks for expanding your home network

One of the best Google search hacks is getting even better
Did you know you can search for an exact word or phrase on Google by putting quotation marks around it? It’s a great way to get specific about something you’re looking for. And on Thursday, Google announced what I think will be a nice improvement: the small snippets underneath a search result link will now be created based on where the quoted term appears on the page. Google’s blog post about the change has a good image that illustrates how this will work in practice, which I’ve included below. Google googled “google search,” and the two snippets shown in the example both include the bolded phrase “Google Search.” Previously, Google would show you results that included the quoted word or phrase, but the small snippet under a link may not have shown exactly where the phrase appeared on a page. In the blog post, Google’s Yonghao Jin explains why that was and why it made the change: In the past, we didn’t always do this because sometimes the quoted material appears in areas of … [Read more...] about One of the best Google search hacks is getting even better

What Is Neo QLED? How Is It Different From QLED and OLED?
OLED, QLED, Neo QLED; there’s plenty of TV technology jargon that makes you wonder how these types of TVs differ from each other. Let’s see how Samsung’s Neo QLED TVs deviate from standard QLED models. Samsung’s Improved Quantum Dot Displays Neo QLED is an advancement of Samsung’s QLED technology ( Quantum dot LED) which was originally released in 2017. Quantum dots are small particles illuminated by UV light behind the screen, producing varying levels of light. QLED displays , therefore, tend to be brighter, more vibrant, and offer better color accuracy. Using LED lights, the intensity of light is evenly distributed across the TV’s display. However, Neo QLED uses mini-LEDs, and thousands more of them compared to the number of LED lights on a QLED screen. This results in higher picture quality since a TV panel can fit more mini-LEDs than standard-sized LED lights.
