Apple event: new iPhones get top billing in a showcase of new products and services

Apple posts record services revenue, solid iPhone sales in Q3
Apple published its third quarter financial results on Tuesday, easily besting market expectations thanks to solid iPhone sales and record revenues from its growing services segment. The results amounted Apple's best June quarter ever and its fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit revenue growth. The Cupertino, Calif. company posted earnings per diluted share of $2.34, up 40 percent from a year ago. Revenue for Q3 came to $53.3 billion, an increase of 17 percent from the year-ago quarter. Wall Street was looking for earnings of $2.18 per share on revenue of $52.34 billion. These Products and Services Work with Google Home
Google first introduced Google Home to the world back in May at Google I/O 2016, later revealing the final product alongside the Pixel in October. From everything we've seen, Google Home seems primed to eventually link up with any smart device in your home and allow you to control everything with just the sound of your voice. Shuttering Toys ‘R’ Us stores in United States put Apple products on clearance
By Malcolm Owen Friday, March 16, 2018, 08:24 am PT (11:24 am ET) The closure of all Toys 'R' Us stores in the United States could be beneficial for people looking to save money on Apple merchandise, as some of the chain's shuttering retail outlets are discounting the Apple TV, iPod touch, iPads, and other items in the clearance sale. Reddit users are reporting the appearance of discounted Apple goods in the clearance sales, including instances of the fourth-generation Apple TV priced at $75, and an iPod Nano for $54. Other users have reported the Apple products are not part of the clearance for their nearby stores, so it appears to be on a store-by-store basis. AppleInsider staff confirmed some stores are electing to discount Apple products, with four out of five closing outlets questioned advising the devices and accessories were part of current clearance sales.
