We are one step closer to the introduction of iSlate or whatever Apple plans on calling its tablet. According to the NY Times, Apple is inviting the media to an event next week to see "our latest creation." As previously reported, Apple has reserved the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco for an event on January 27th. Speculation has been rife that the event is the introduction of the Apple tablet. It is expected that none other than Steve Jobs will be making the introduction. The Apple tablet is supposed to feature a 10 inch touch screen with a very unique UI, a 5MP camera and resembles a pumped up iPhone on steroids. A week from Wednesday we should learn the answers to all of our questions.source: NYTimes … [Read more...] about Apple invites media to see its “latest creation” next week

They could come out with 10 different tablets with all the different rumors that have been circulating. How annoying. posted on 18 Jan 2010, 17:02 0 2. Just like the 64bit ach processors. posted on 27 Aug 2014, 03:11 4 6. AlikMalix (unregistered) I was going to say the same thing. I bet secretly most Android users hope Apple embeds an NFC chip, so that the world finally embraces it (at least commercially). Say what you want, but NFC isn't where it should be considering the effort and time android manufacturers pushed for it. posted on 27 Aug 2014, 03:24 3 8.
