Jailbreaking is not for the faint of heart, but brings numerous new horizons to your otherwise rather closed iOS ecosystem.Apple didn't introduce split-screen multitasking with the new record-thin iPad Air 2, for instance, but who knows, a jailbroken iPad might be able to tap into the Cydia repos for precisely such functionality.
