While previous rumors had suggested that the LG G8 would be announced in late March, or possibly even in May, we’re now hearing that it might actually land at MWC 2019, which kicks off on February 25.That’s according to Android Authority, though it’s not clear where the site got its information from, and it adds that the plans could change, especially as Xiaomi apparently has a phone launch planned for the same day.Those previous launch rumors don’t necessarily conflict with this one, as the site claims that LG has accelerated its 2019 production schedule. CES 2019 in Las Vegas is coming to a close, and we've seen the usual conveyor belt of weird and wonderful kit, from massive 8K TVs to foldable phones. Despite the world's media descending on the Las Vegas Convention Center, however, the photographic industry has chosen to keep a low profile again this year. While many had hoped Sony would take the wraps off either a new Alpha A7000 or Alpha A7S III, it was left to Panasonic to tease out a few more specs of its eagerly anticipated Lumix S1R and S1 full-frame cameras, though it elected not to reveal a full production model of the camera. The latest version of Nissan’s Leaf has been unveiled at CES 2019, and it features a subtle but reassuring twist for any potential owners who suffer from range anxiety.Top of the pile is the Nissan Leaf 3.Zero e+ Limited Edition, which boasts a higher output. The fun and funky saloon, best known for its wonderfully addictive e-Pedal, will deliver 160kW (217 PS) of power, 340Nm of torque and a predicted 239 mile range from one charge of the 62 kWh capacity battery. The Leaf 3.Zero e+ Limited Edition will deliver a 40% range increase over another cheaper edition of the car, the Leaf 3.Zero, which is equipped with a 40 kWh battery.
