Hi. If you want a PC mostly for programming, then 2400G will be just fine. R5 1600 and R5 2600 are more powerful in general but those GPUs that you mentioned have almost the same performance as internal 2400G graphics. If I were you, I'd choose R5 2600. It would be enough for another couple of years without any upgrade. … [Read more...] about Ryzen 5 1600 vs 5 2400g vs 5 2600
As the cost difference is so great, I would go the 9600K....The 9600K will provide a gaming experience near on the 9700K level and of course can be overclocked to push it further when required... In terms of the actual difference between the two, the difference is at most between 2 to 5% and with most games yet to use more than 6 cores with a couple of outliers, I would not worry as the performance is so close as in real terms you would hardly ever notice the difference. … [Read more...] about i7 9700K or i5 9600K for gaming?

This coming week im going to buy a new monitor, specifically the Acer Predator XB271HU: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/predator-model/UM.HX1EE.005 After some research most people state the display port is the best way to maximize the amount of Hz the monitor can show off. Currently im using a GTX 1060 founders edition with plans to upgrade in the near future, but for now i cant seem to understand if these two components will be compatible. After looking at specs from plenty different sites and the 1060 users manual, they all just state "Displayport (QTY3)" which im guessing means quantity, since there are 3 displayport ports on the GPU. Meanwhile the Predator says displayport/hdmi, but id prefer to use displayport, but whats confusing me is if they are compatible, since i believe there are multiple versions of displayport. Maybe its the answer is right infront of me but i would just like to know. Thanks in advance for replies. … [Read more...] about 1060 display port QTY3 compatibility with monitor
