All India Institute Of Medical Science ( AIIMS ) is still recovering from the cyberattack it reported almost two weeks ago. While the authorities are sanitising the servers and computers, a circular has revealed that officials of one of the country's apex health institutions were directed to implement cybersecurity policies issued by the government. In a circular dated August 16, concerned officials were directed to comply with cyber security policies issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The launch of the Artemis I mission in mid-November was spectacular, and NASA's Orion spacecraft has performed nearly flawlessly ever since. If all goes as anticipated—and there is no reason to believe it won't—Orion will splash down in calm seas off the California coast this weekend. This exploration mission has provided dazzling photos of Earth and the Moon and offered a promise that humans will soon fly in deep space again. So the question for NASA, then, is when can we expect an encore? Realistically, a follow-up to Artemis I is probably at least two years away. Most likely, the Artemis II mission will not happen before early 2025, although NASA is not giving up hope on launching humans into deep space in 2024. New Delhi, The Indian government is planning to make Big Tech pay publishers for using their content on their respective platforms, as other countries aim to create a revenue-sharing bridge between internet companies like Google and Facebook and digital news publishers. According to Minister of State for IT and Electronics, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the government is mulling revision in IT laws to effect this change. "The market power on digital advertising that is currently being exercised by the Big Tech majors, which places Indian media companies at a position of disadvantage, is an issue that is seriously being examined in the context of new legalisations and rules," the minister told The Times of India. If implemented, the new law will force Big Tech companies to pay digital news publishers a share of the revenue earned via using their original content.
