Laura Whitmore has reportedly met with Love Island bosses in secret to discuss taking over from Caroline Flack, following the presenters decision to step down after she was charged with assault. The Irish presenter, 34, has reportedly ‘had a chat’ with producers about hosting the upcoming winter series in January, with an insider claiming she was ‘open’ to the idea almost as soon as Caroline announced her departure. It comes as Laura – who is dating Love Island voiceover Iain Stirling – emerged as the new bookies favourite to take over as presenter after Caroline announced she would be stepping down as the show for its new series.
