As years passed, it turned out that mobile websites carried enough information so that smartphone users didn’t have to switch to the desktop version of a web page to get the information they were seeking. In fact, the iOS version of the Microsoft Edge browser app didn’t even offer users this option until now. Windows Central mentioned today that an update to version 42.7.3 of the app gives users the opportunity to switch to the desktop version of a mobile app. Besides this change, the update also adds performance improvements. The update is currently rolling out to Apple iPhone and iPad users. If you don’t have the app installed on your iOS flavored device, simply click on this link.
