For a company that prides itself on its groundbreaking mobile technologies, forward-thinking spirit, and risk-taking courage, Samsung was rather late to embrace both dual rear-facing and dual front-facing cameras on Galaxy smartphones. But even though the company has no plans to challenge Nokia’s rumored insanity and release a flagship handset with five shooters mounted on its back, the “ultra-premium” Galaxy S10 variant could feature a grand total of five cameras. A fresh news report from Korea, based on the usual unnamed “industry” sources, echoes previous speculation of three S10 models , anticipating a “standard” version with three cameras (two rear, one front), a “premium” phone with four cameras (three rear, one front), and the aforementioned ultra-premium edition carrying a triple rear shooter system and a dual selfie-producing setup. Unfortunately, as far as camera specifications are concerned, we have nothing new to report . Just because the “ultra-premium” Samsung Galaxy S10 is coming with a large number of snappers in tow it doesn’t mean said cameras will actually be the world’s most competent. But clearly, Apple and Huawei have something to be concerned about.
